RF and SFN Monitoring Probe

EdgeProbe Advanced is ideally suited for use at your transmitter site. It is a rack-mounted product that can be equipped with up to 4 receiver modules in a single 1RU chassis. Each receiver module has RF/ASI/IP inputs and provides monitoring of the broadcast signal at different points throughout the media delivery chain. The product is licensed by the number of receiver modules (1, 2, or 4) and the level of monitoring capabilities.

EdgeProbe Advanced provides monitoring of the signal at different levels:

  • RF transmission: measures key RF signal parameters (Power Level, SNR, BER), the SFN Drift and monitors the Channel Impulse Response (Echoes)
  • STLTP: checks the distribution link integrity for ATSC 3.0
