Comark Digital Services (CDS) was re-launched to assist customers with navigating the FCC repack and migrating to ATSC 3.0. CDS is the largest ATSC 3.0 system integrator in the US and currently operates a full laboratory for equipment testing, integration, and customer demonstrations out of the company’s Southwick, MA headquarters.
CDS provides market-leading solutions with best-of-breed technology and system expertise to help customers jump into the exciting possibilities offered by ATSC 3.0. ENENSYS products are key components of these solutions. These products include:
SmartGate – an ATSC3.0 Broadcast Gateway that encapsulates MMT, ROUTE, ALP or any IP streams into an ATSC multiplex, inserts synchronization data from Single Frequency Network (SFN) Broadcasting, allocates data into the different Sub-Frame and Physical Layer Pipes (PLP) and generates STL output packets.
MediaCAST – a virtualized software designed to support the delivery of live content from HEVC encoders or non-real-time content over ROUTE/MMTP protocols and generates all the ATSC 3.0 signaling (LLS & SLS) to enable a perfect service scanning & decoding on receivers part.
IPGuardV2 – a unique 1+1 IP redundancy switch with bypass mechanism, providing automatic and seamless switchover between two equipment or two networks. Designed for IP architectures, it provides automatic switching between main & backup IP sources based on a set of configurable criteria. Optimized for terrestrial transmissions systems, it allows automatic redundancy between two ATSC 3.0 Gateways (ATSCheduler) at the Head-End, and seamless switching between two STL streams at the transmitters sites to secure signal distribution between the Head End and the transmitters.
